Strategic Sourcing Specialist — Industrial Procurement Join a team focused on precision, partnership, and performance. In this role, you will steward supplier relationships, create data-driven procurement plans, and ensure materials arrive on time and at the right cost and quality.

Keep production on schedule by aligning sourcing strategies with inventory and demand forecasts. - Collaboration:
Work across operations, engineering, and finance to translate requirements into purchase decisions. - Excellence:
Elevate supplier performance through rigorous evaluation and negotiation.
- Research and identify reliable suppliers that meet organizational needs.
- Evaluate suppliers on quality, cost, and delivery reliability; drive continuous improvement.
- Negotiate contracts and pricing to secure favorable terms.
- Collaborate with internal teams to understand purchasing requirements and specifications.
- Forecast demand and develop effective procurement plans.
- Monitor inventory levels to avoid shortages and overstock.
- Analyze market trends to pinpoint cost-saving opportunities.
- Solicit and compare quotes to ensure competitive pricing.
- Optimize purchasing budgets in line with company goals.
- Issue purchase orders and track delivery status end-to-end.
- Confirm receipt accuracy for both quantity and quality.
- Resolve delays, defects, and shipment discrepancies.
- Maintain accurate records of purchases, contracts, and supplier communications.
- Ensure adherence to company policies, legal regulations, and industry standards.
- Bachelor’s degree in business, supply chain management, or related field (required).
- Professional certifications like CIPP or CIPM (preferred).
- 5+ years of purchasing experience in a manufacturing setting.
- Proven negotiation, analytical, and communication skills; proficiency with procurement software; understanding of supply chain principles and market dynamics.
- Track record of meeting deadlines.
- Strong organizational and planning capability.
- Effective communicator with operators, supervisors, and all management levels.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office.
