Responsibilities
  • Support pharmacy team to deliver operational and service excellence.
  • Serve as first point of contact to assist patients and customers, delivering an exceptional experience.
  • Ensure prescriptions are filled promptly, safely, and accurately, and provide caring service that exceeds patient expectations.
  • Operate as part of the pharmacy team through consistent application of SOPs, best practices, and effective communication.
  • Contribute to safe and effective operations of the pharmacy, including inventory activities, cycle counts, return‑to‑stocks, and on‑hand inventory.
  • Demonstrate genuine care and foster a safe and inclusive culture.
  • Assist in additional patient health care services (e.g., immunizations, point‑of‑care testing, and optionally staffing offsite clinics) where allowable by law.
  • Remain flexible for scheduling and business needs, including travel to other stores as required.
Required Qualifications
  • Compliance with state board of pharmacy requirements or laws governing the practice of pharmacy, including age, education, and licensure/certification.
  • If no minimum age requirement is mandated by the board, must be at least 16 years of age.
  • If no minimum educational requirement is mandated, must have a high school diploma or equivalent, or be actively enrolled in high school or an equivalency program.
  • State‑level licensure and national certification requirements vary by state.
Essential Functions
  • Regular and predictable attendance, including nights and weekends.
  • Ability to complete required training within the designated timeframe.
  • Focus and attention: concentrate on tasks, pivot quickly, confirm prescription information and label accuracy.
  • Customer service orientation: friendly assistance, understanding patient reactions.
  • Communication skills: verbal, written, active listening.
  • Mathematical reasoning: determine quantities of medication dispensed.
  • Problem resolution: choose best course of action for challenging interactions.
  • Physical demands: mobile, upright for extended periods, lift up to 20 lbs, repetitive finger work, visual acuity.
  • Any additional tasks as directed by Supervisor or Manager.
Preferred Qualifications
  • 1‑3 years previous experience as a Pharmacy Technician.
  • Previous experience in a pharmacy, retail, medical, or customer service setting.
  • Ability to work in the home store and across the market in other locations to meet business needs.
Anticipated Weekly Hours

29 hours per week (part‑time).

Pay Range

$16.00 – $24.00 per hour. Base hourly rate or base annual full‑time salary for all positions in the job grade within which this position falls. Actual base salary offer will depend on experience, education, geography and other factors.
