Site Manager

Tayside | Permanent

We’re working with an established construction contractor with a strong pipeline of ongoing and upcoming projects across Tayside, who are looking to appoint an experienced Site Manager to support their continued workload.

This is an excellent opportunity to join a well-established business delivering a varied portfolio of construction projects, with the flexibility to take ownership of your own site or work as part of a larger project team.

The Role

Depending on the project, you’ll be responsible for managing your own site or overseeing a section of a larger development, ensuring works are delivered safely, efficiently and to the required quality standards.

Key responsibilities will include:

- Managing day-to-day site operations, ensuring programmes and milestones are achieved.

- Coordinating subcontractors, suppliers and site personnel.

- Maintaining high standards of health and safety, quality and environmental compliance.

- Monitoring progress against programme and addressing any issues that may impact delivery.

- Working closely with the wider project team, including project management and engineering.

- Ensuring works are completed in line with drawings, specifications and contractual requirements.

About You

We’re keen to speak with Site Managers who have:

- Proven experience managing construction sites for a main contractor.

- A strong understanding of site operations, programme management and subcontractor coordination.

- The ability to lead site teams and maintain productive working relationships with subcontractors.

- A proactive, practical approach to health and safety, quality and project delivery.

- Strong communication and organisational skills.

Experience across commercial, residential or student accommodation projects would be advantageous.

The Package

- Salary of up to £65,000, depending on experience.

- Car allowance.

- Competitive employer pension contributions.

- Ongoing project workload across the Tayside area.

- Permanent and freelance opportunities considered.
