• Specialist Physiotherapist, Band 6 Maternity Cover
• Fixed Term/Secondment for 1 year from 19th January 2026
• Community Rehabilitation Team Arbroath infirmary
• With effect from 01 April 2026, NHS Scotland is reducing its full time working week from 37 to 36 hours per week, there will be no change in full time pay.

• Work within the community rehabilitation team and provide high quality evidence-based assessment and rehabilitation for inpatients on the MFE wards at Arbroath infirmary.
• Contribute to discharge planning and play a key role in the transition of care from hospital to home.
• Responsible for training and supervision of junior staff, support workers and students.
• Carry a caseload of community patients across the south of Angus with a varied caseload that includes musculoskeletal, neurological, orthopaedic and respiratory problems.
• Be involved in the Angus Parkinson clinic and the delivery of the Better Balance programme.
• Collaborate with the MDT and participate in Enhanced Community Support (ECS) meetings across the locality. Travel across the locality is essential.
• Support the NMAHP Development Framework locally and within the AHP Directorate with colleagues.

• Hours of work: 37 hours per week. Part-time hours will be considered.
