Trainee Bus Driver – Arbroath Depot

Salary £14.04 per hour. Get paid to train, with zero training costs. You’ll earn from day one and have all training costs covered to achieve a recognised national qualification in Passenger Transport and your PCV licence, worth around £4,000.

Typical annualised earnings after training: £31,636 based on a basic week of 39 hours.

Shift patterns vary, so you can fit work around existing commitments.

You will be one of 136 drivers transporting our customers safely and comfortably to healthcare, employment, shopping, leisure, and friends and family. Your day‑to‑day tasks include:

• Driving a Stagecoach bus safely and responsibly.
• Providing excellent customer service to passengers.
• Following all safety and operational procedures and maintaining the vehicle.
• Supporting others in the team where required, including training and coaching.

• Over 18 years old with a valid UK driving licence and no more than 6 penalty points.
• Minimum six months driving experience in the UK.
• Desire to deliver great customer service.
• Patient, safe and courteous approach to driving.
