Join our dynamic team of digital media instructors and filmmakers who work in new and newly modernized state-of-the-art production studios, editing labs, and a podcast suite. The program has recently expanded to a second campus and enrollment is growing. Students benefit from participation in an annual film festival, internship opportunities, and portfolio-building.
The Digital Media Production Program, which is one of CCBC’s most rapidly growing academic programs, is seeking a candidate to teach production courses in film, television, content creation/new media, and video editing. The candidate may also teach courses that require knowledge of film history, visual media, and screenwriting. The program serves a diverse population of students, which includes traditional and non‑traditional students.

This position will be located on the Catonsville campus with possible travel to Essex to teach additional courses.
Master's Degree in Electronic Media and Film, Digital Media Production, Video Production, or related field; minimum two years professional experience in digital media production, including studio production, cinematography, and video editing; knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite, ENG cameras, DSLR cameras, and digital cinema cameras required; proficiency in operating multi-camera video switchers for live or recorded broadcasts. Two years teaching and/or training in the field preferred;
experience preferably at the college level. Academic transcripts must be submitted with application.
Faculty teach 15 credits per semester, hold 5 office hours per week, serve the college through committees and/or other service, and continue to enhance their skills and knowledge through professional development.
