We are seeking Licensed Substance Use Disorder Counselors (SUD Counselors) to join our growing team. Multiple openings are available. The ideal candidate is collaborative, compassionate, and committed to supporting clients through recovery while contributing to a strong, team‑oriented workplace.

• Provide alcohol and drug education during counseling sessions
• Conduct individual and group therapy sessions (in‑office only)
• Complete initial SUD assessments and concurrent ASAM assessments
• Conduct intake assessments while maintaining strict client confidentiality
• Develop, monitor, and document treatment plans and client progress
• Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation, including progress notes, urinalysis results, and interventions
• Coordinate client discharges and transfers in compliance with state and federal regulations
• Ensure assigned caseload receives random urinalysis per regulatory guidelines
• Maintain up‑to‑date client records, including transition and discharge planning
• Attend required weekly supervision meetings

• Knowledge of diagnostic criteria for substance use disorders
• Understanding of treatment outcome measurement methods
• Ability to tailor treatment strategies to individual client needs
• Strong documentation and clinical record‑keeping skills
• Ability to manage crises and provide appropriate interventions
• Familiarity with community resources and support systems
• Ability to provide constructive therapeutic responses when client behaviors conflict with recovery goals
• Computer literacy required

• Applicants must be certified by the Maryland Board of Professional Counselors and Therapists as one of the following:
• CAC‑AD
• CSC‑AD
• LG‑ADC
• ADT

• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation

• Modern office setting
• Supportive, team‑based clinical environment
