DUIT is helping a large public university retire its dependence on People Soft for identity and provisioning decisions. You will find every place People Soft identity flags and personas still drive access, define what replaces them, and help plan a safe, sequenced migration to Workday and Microsoft Entra is contingent on contract award. What You Will Get to Do:- Inventory People Soft identity flags, personas, user profiles, permission lists, roles, and population or service indicators.
- Trace how those flags feed downstream systems through Application Engine programs, Integration Broker, queries, interfaces, and scripts.
- Identify the service accounts and integration credentials People Soft interfaces depend on.
- Define the attributes that must replace each flag in the future state and document gaps.
- Help design parallel-run testing, cutover, rollback, and decommissioning plans.
- Work with application owners and administrators to confirm dependencies.
- Inventory People Soft identity flags, personas, user profiles, permission lists, roles, and population or service indicators.
Minimum
Required:
- 7+ years of People Soft experience, including at least 3 years in People Soft security administration.
- Hands-on experience with People Soft Campus Solutions in a higher-education setting.
- Strong knowledge of People Tools security (user profiles, roles, permission lists, row-level security) and Integration Broker.
- Ability to read People Code, Application Engine, and SQL to trace data flows
- Experience with a People Soft-to-Workday migration or a People Soft decommissioning effort.
- People Soft HCM or Financials security experience in addition to Campus Solutions.
- Experience with identity provisioning from student information systems.
