Overview
The purpose of this class is to provide professional level interpretation services to assigned department or program National Certification through the Registry of Interpreters for the Deaf and a minimum of three years' experience working as a professional sign language interpreter.
These positions are located on the Catonsville and Essex campuses
Responsibilities- Serve as designated interpreter to full-time deaf faculty.
- Interpret at annual college events.
- Interpret for college courses taught by deaf faculty.
- Interpret for deaf faculty at committee meetings.
- Interpret for deaf faculty at ad-hoc meetings.
- Keep track of all hours and schedule.
- Team effectively with an agency interpreter when needed.
