Join Otis Elevator Company as a highly motivated Modernization Project Manager to oversee coordination of large modernization projects in Baltimore, MD. The role ensures efficiency, cost containment, and customer satisfaction.

• Ensure flawless execution of each project by completing on schedule, within budget, and meeting all technical & safety standards, regulatory compliance requirements, and customer expectations.
• Coordinate all contract activities from the award stage to completion, and provide progress reviews to ensure contract documents are consistent with required scope.
• Proactively communicate with multiple client representatives including general contractors, owners, building managers, architects and designers, State and Local authorities, and regulatory agencies concerning project design, preparation, and scheduling of equipment installation.
• Work closely with internal sales staff, superintendents, and senior leadership to ensure a successful project from both financial and customer perspectives.
• Handle contract writing & administration, manage billing, consultant and contractor payments, process RFIs, optimize change order opportunities, and maximize project cash coverage.
• Accurately interpret construction contractual documents and modifications to determine cost impacts.
• Accurately analyze situations and assist in developing contingencies for estimates.

• 4+ years of related project management experience.
• Experience in elevator/escalator modernization projects is required.
• Familiarity with cost estimating, scheduling, and contract administration.
• Ability to read and review architectural and structural drawings.
• Team-oriented and adaptable in dynamic settings.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills for developing relationships with stakeholders.
• Self-motivated, capable of handling multiple projects simultaneously.
• Proficient in Microsoft software within technical environments.
• Strong leadership, time management, and organizational skills.
• High school diploma or equivalent required; bachelor’s degree preferred.

The salary range for this role is $114,400 to $143,000. Pay may vary based on education, qualifications, certifications, experience, seniority, geographic location, and business needs.
