Day Operations/Inventory Manager — The George J. Falter Company Inc.
Responsibilities
- Oversee management of all daytime operations, including:
- Warehouse activities (receiving, put‑away, inventory control, housekeeping)
- Facilities maintenance
- Transportation
- Customer service and cash‑and‑carry operations
- Computer systems administration and operation
- Ensure compliance with OSHA, MOSHA, and Maryland Labor statutes
- Implement and enforce proper procedures for disciplinary action, employee safety, building security, first report of injury, and insurance claims for workers’ comp, vehicle accidents, and property losses
- Schedule:
Monday to Friday, 8 AM–5 PM
Requirements
- 5 years of warehouse operations management experience
- College level education
- Personnel management and supervisory skills
- Strong computer skills, including IBM AS/400 and Microsoft Office with emphasis on Excel
