Store Manager – The Pittsburgh Paints Company

The Pittsburgh Paints Company is seeking a motivated Store Manager to empower the team to achieve outstanding operational results while delivering exceptional customer service. The role is based in Baltimore, MD and requires onsite presence 100% of the time. The Store Manager will report to the Regional Manager.

• Achieve sales and profit plan by controlling expenses, working capital, inventory, shrinkage, and growing net contribution.
• Focus on customer service by ensuring high service standards are maintained.
• Resolve customer issues quickly and efficiently.
• Maintain associate engagement through training, mentoring, motivation, and issue resolution.
• Understand local market dynamics, operations-based selling, and customer base.
• Ensure the store's appearance, both exterior and interior, meets required standards.

• High School diploma or equivalent and 1+ years of retail store experience.
• Preferred knowledge of paint products and sundries.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and internet applications.
• Availability for flexible shifts and a minimum of 50 hours per week; valid driver’s license required.
• Physical ability to lift 80 pounds infrequently and 40-60 pounds daily.
• Consent to background investigation, drug screen, and motor vehicle record check.
