Position
:
Part‑time Educator – Beverly Hills School District
Pay Range: $19‑$22/hour (dependent on education & experience)
Schedule: Mon, Tues, Thurs, Fri – 2pm‑6pm;
Weds 1‑6pm (dependent on location).
Note: This opportunity is for the school year starting late July/Early August.
- Organize program materials for lessons and activities, and document attendance, incidents, and other observations.
- Deliver our dynamic daily curriculum to engage children in academic and social character‑building that expands school‑day learning in a meaningful way.
- Use coursework training and in‑person training to model positive guidance and effective classroom management, maintaining safety, well‑being, and attention of all children while supporting homework completion, leading fitness activities, and guiding play.
- Communicate effectively with children, parents, staff, and school personnel.
- Meet regularly with the Program Manager regarding professional progress and team accountability.
- Outstanding customer service and relationship‑building skills.
- Works well in a team environment.
- Must be 18 years or older with a high‑school diploma or equivalent.
- At least 1 year of experience working with children under 13 years of age.
- College credits in early childhood education, child development, elementary education, or a related field (preferred, not required).
- Ability to lift 25 lbs.
- Drive to inspire a love for learning and commitment to healthy living.
- Ability to meet state‑specific requirements: live scan fingerprint, FA/CPR, mandated reporter training, health certificate with negative TB test (from a physician).
