Description The Client Cost Engineer will be responsible for the comprehensive management of all cost-related aspects of a reimbursable FEED project within the energy transition sector. This role requires a highly skilled professional with expertise in cost control, budgeting, forecasting, and stakeholder engagement to ensure the project is executed efficiently, within budget, and aligned with strategic objectives.

The successful candidate will act as the primary interface between the client and project team on cost management matters, leveraging industry best practices to deliver value and maintain compliance with contractual and commercial requirements.

Responsibilities
** Cost Management and Oversight
*** Develop, implement, and maintain robust cost control frameworks tailored to the specific needs of the reimbursable FEED project.
* Monitor and report on cost performance, ensuring adherence to approved budgets and reimbursable terms.
* Conduct detailed cost analysis to identify trends, variances, and areas requiring corrective action.
* Manage and oversee change control processes, evaluating cost implications and ensuring proper documentation and approvals.
** Budgeting and Forecasting
*** Prepare and maintain comprehensive cost estimates and budgets throughout the project lifecycle.
* Perform regular forecasting and variance analysis to proactively identify potential cost overruns and risks.
* Provide actionable insights and recommendations to mitigate financial risks and optimize resource allocation.
** Stakeholder Reporting and Communication
*** Prepare and present accurate, detailed cost reports and dashboards for internal and external stakeholders.
* Ensure timely communication of cost-related matters to clients, project teams, and senior management.
