, within our Live Operations Department! This position starts at $25.33/hour. Plus we are offering a $6000 Driver New Hire Bonus! (Must hold current Class-A CDL).

Position Summary

The Process Lead Worker provides first level supervision. This person exercises independent judgment to achieve department goals in safety, quality, efficiency, and yield. The Process Lead Worker reports to the department Supervisor and is responsible for the operation of a set of specific processes within the department. This position is designed to be a career path to higher supervisory positions within the company.

Must be able to perform all positions within the department.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities
  • Collect and process blood, culture, and tissue samples.
  • Complete necessary paperwork to submit samples to laboratory.
  • Administer rodent/insect control plan, application, and results of process.
  • Catch and place pullets into coops.
  • Unload breeder stock into layer barns.
  • Assist in moving male roosters from stud barn.
  • Assist in 12-week and 18-week vaccinations of pullets.
  • Conduct water and spray vaccinations of pullets.
  • Delegate and coordinate team members for daily responsibilities.
  • CDL is required or the ability to obtain a CDL when classes are next available.

  • Observe & enforce all company personnel, quality, safety, and food safety policies.
  • Maintains a positive work atmosphere by acting and communicating in a manner so that you work effectively and cooperatively with customers, clients, coworkers, and leadership teams.
  • Participates in process improvement and problem solving utilizing continuous improvement and rational thinking methodologies.
  • Recognizes and acts on incidents and safety risks. Consistently practices and enforces safe work habits and drives those habits throughout the organization.
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
  • Ability to read and write English (for record keeping purposes).
  • Ability to follow both written and verbal direction.
  • Ability to communicate effectively with others in a manner that maintains harmony with co-workers.
  • Valid Pilgrim’s Pallet jack license or ability to obtain license within 30 days.
  • Bilingual skills in languages used within the department preferred, but not required.
  • To perform this job successfully, applicant must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions.
  • CDL is required or the ability to obtain a CDL when classes are next available.
