Job OverviewInstall, maintain, and repair electrical wiring, equipment, panels and fixtures for PV systems. Tasks may include:
Connect solar panels and inverters and other high-voltage equipment to the solar sites. Repair or replace PV-related wiring, equipment and fixtures;
Assemble, install, test and maintain PV-related electrical/electronic wiring, equipment, appliances. Test PV electrical systems.
- High School Grad / GED
- Minimum of 3 years of verifiable work experience
- Valid Driver’s License (NON CDL)
- Proficiency in skills and abilities relating to: circuit breakers, motors, control circuits, transformers, generators, exciters, & batteries
- Ideal candidate will possess commercial & industrial experience
- Possess CDL & Heavy Equipment Operating Experience (Verifiable)
- This Position is responsible for maintenance in solar power fields, cable splicing, panel replacement, 1500 D.C. Volts Field trouble shooting, inverter maintenance & repair, and fault locating.
- Expected to safely perform all associated tasks.
- Maintain & Operate all tools, equipment, and vehicles in an efficient manner.
- May be required to work extended hours & travel throughout the state of Florida.
- Must be able to work in direct sunlight and/or at night.
- Must be physically able to perform all assigned tasks.
- Emphasis on Safety Culture.
- Ability to work independently.
- Potential candidate must demonstrate a working knowledge of troubleshooting electrical components and equipment to include the use of digital multi-meters, meggers, and amp clamps.
- Operates various types of Test instruments.
- Utilizes hand, power tools/equipment necessary to support a safe and productive work environment.
- Candidate must be able to pass a pre-employment drug screening
- Must be eligible to work in the United States.
