Retail Floor Associate; Part-Time

Join the team as a Retail Floor Associate (Part‑Time) at Vision Ace Hardware and help customers find the items they need.

$16.00/hr – $16.00/hr

• Lift heavy cartons from the floor to overhead racks.
• Stock all warehouse, drop ship, and back‑stock inventory.
• Front and face merchandise on shelves as directed by the manager.
• Read and explain directions for unfamiliar products.

• Customer service is the top priority at all times.
• Greet each customer with a smile and ask, “What can I help you find today?”
• Walk the customer through all product categories.
• Ensure the customer has everything they need for their project.

• Vast knowledge of hardware related products and home projects is a plus.
• 1–3 years retail experience is a plus.
• Willingness and ability to work a flexible schedule, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
• Physical requirements:
  • Use a scanner, Point of Sale and computer keyboard for all transactions.
  • See and read product labels, dispense product knowledge, and communicate with customers.
  • Manual dexterity; work with cash registers, computers, assemble small products, and make change.
  • Stand for an extended period of time.
  • Bend, climb, twist, retrieve, stock, and move product.
  • Lift and/or move items up to 50 pounds.
