Overview
Retail Sales Associate - 2900 at Capital Pawn. Full-Time role with hourly wage of $14.00 to $17.00 per hour plus commission.
We offer an easily achievable commission structure that pays you for every transaction you process, with potential to earn commission in addition to your hourly rate.
Responsibilities- Greet and interact with customers to develop rapport and recommend appropriate financial solutions.
- Perform non-management open/close procedures and ensure the sales floor is clean, stocked, and merchandised properly.
- Process sales and loan transactions in accordance with established policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements; handle cash and negotiables responsibly.
- Respond to customer inquiries, provide problem resolution, and communicate legal aspects of pawn and buy transactions.
- Collaborate with coworkers and managers to create a positive, memorable customer experience.
- Complete required training and adapt to various duties as needed.
- Must be willing and able to lift/carry up to 50 pounds and perform duties that may require standing, walking, bending, and lifting for extended periods.
- Ability to work with firearms and become firearms certified (where applicable).
- Minimum Age: 18 years old;
High School Diploma or GED or equivalent experience. - Strong desire to serve customers, work in a team, and perform in a fast-paced environment; ability to multi-task and perform basic math; cash-handling experience preferred.
- Computer literate with ability to operate POS systems and common office equipment; flexibility to work at multiple locations as needed.
The commission incentive plan is proprietary. Pawnbrokers have the potential to earn 2-8% commission based on personal performance and gross profit; details provided during interview. Payrates will not be below applicable local minimum wage requirements.

- Paid vacation: 1 week after 6 months, 1 additional week after 1 year, 2 weeks on each anniversary thereafter; 120 hours after five years (adjusted for state/local requirements).
- Sick/Personal time: 8 hours after 6 months; 16 hours each anniversary (years 2-5); 24 hours after five years.
