School of Engineering Temporary Faculty Pool
The School of Engineering supports five programs, including three Bachelor of Science Programs:
Energy Systems Engineering (ESE), Environmental Resources Engineering (ERE) and Mechanical Engineering (ME); and two Masters of Science programs: the Engineering and Community Practice (ECP) M.S. and the Environmental Systems M.S. (Environmental Resources Engineering option and Energy Technology and Policy option).

Degree: Earned Ph.D., or M.S. with ABD in Engineering or a related field.
Experience: Successful teaching experience and/or relevant professional experience within the last five years.
Preferred: Current Professional Engineer (P.E.) license, and professional experience directly related to the course.
Group 2Degree: Earned B.A./B.S. in Engineering or a related field with relevant professional experience.
Experience: Successful teaching experience and/or relevant professional experience within the last five years.
Preferred: Ph.D. or M.S. with ABD in Engineering or related field, current Professional Engineer (P.E.) license, and professional experience directly related to the course.
Group 3Degree: Earned M.S. in Engineering or a related field with Professional Engineer (P.E.) license.
Experience: Successful teaching experience and/or relevant professional experience within the last five years.
Preferred: Ph.D. or M.S. with ABD in Engineering or related field, current Professional Engineer (P.E.) license, and professional experience directly related to the course.

The salary schedule information for the Lecturer – Academic Year Classification is available based on the following ranges:
Appointees are typically placed at the beginning of the range. The full-time (15 units per semester) monthly base salaries indicated in the schedules above are prorated to the number of units worked and are paid in six monthly payments for each full semester.
