Position Urgency: Rapid Response / Crisis Assignment

We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Sterile Processing Technician for a Rapid Response Crisis assignment. The ideal candidate will ensure the effective decontamination, inspection, sterilization, and distribution of surgical instruments and equipment in compliance with infection control standards.

• Hours:
  
  40 hours per week (guaranteed except during Thanksgiving, Christmas, and New Year weeks)
• Shift: Monday – Friday; includes shared call rotation
• Contract Type:
  Rapid Response Crisis Contract

• Clean, disinfect, and sterilize surgical instruments and equipment.
• Assemble and inspect instrument trays for surgical procedures.
• Maintain accurate inventory of sterile supplies and equipment.
• Follow established infection control and sterilization protocols.
• Operate autoclaves and other sterilization equipment.
• Collaborate with surgical teams to ensure timely availability of instruments.

• Certification as a Sterile Processing Technician (CRCST or equivalent).
• Current TB clearance required.
• Minimum 1 year of recent experience in sterile processing preferred.
• Strong knowledge of sterilization and infection prevention standards.
• Excellent attention to detail and time management skills.
