ARMStaffing is looking for a Registered Nurse, Utilization Review (Day Shift) in Arcata, California.

Arcata, CA

This is a 13-week contract position.

Five 8-hour shifts per week, 8:00 AM - 4:30 PM.

The Utilization Review Nurse will be responsible for overseeing patient care and ensuring that services are provided efficiently and effectively. The role includes evaluating patient treatment plans and coordinating with healthcare providers to ensure optimal care delivery.

• Conduct utilization review for assigned cases.
• Review patient care plans to ensure compliance with medical necessity criteria.
• Collaborate with healthcare professionals to provide patient-centered care.
• Document and communicate findings and recommendations effectively.
• Participate in quality improvement initiatives.

• Experience in Utilization Management.
• Proven ability to work in a clinical environment.

• Active California RN license.
• BLS and ACLS certification.
• Proof of negative TB screen within the past 12 months.
