This position involves setting up and operating various milling machines to perform machining operations such as cutting, boring, milling, serrating, and gear cutting to precise tolerances. Responsibilities include selecting and aligning machine attachments, planning operation sequences, adjusting machine settings, interpreting blueprints and specifications, using hand tools and measuring instruments, and verifying quality according to control procedures.
Basic Qualifications:
- Mechanically inclined
- Ability to learn to read and interpret operation sheets and blueprints, including thread sizes and types
- Experience with stock cutting saws
- Experience with large Proceco wash stations
- Burr bench work experience
- High School Diploma (no degree required)
