• Safely maneuver trailers to and from loading docks and designated yard areas.
• Ensure accurate placement of trailers for efficient loading and unloading.
• Communicate effectively with truck drivers, warehouse personnel and shipping staff to ensure smooth operations.
• Direct the movement of vehicles in the yard, ensuring safety and compliance with company policies.
• Adhere to all safety regulations and protocols while operating equipment and directing traffic.
• Conduct regular inspections of equipment and report any issues to management.
• Maintain accurate records of trailer movements, loading/unloading activities and any incidents.
• Assist in completing shipping and receiving paperwork as needed.
• Assist in loading and unloading goods as required, using forklifts or other material handling equipment.
• Collaborate with team members to maintain an organized and efficient shipping and receiving area.

• High school diploma or equivalent; additional training in logistics or warehouse operations is a plus.
• Previous experience in shipping and receiving, logistics, or a related field preferred.
• Valid driver’s license and forklift certification if applicable.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work in a fast‑paced environment and handle multiple tasks.
• Basic computer skills for documentation and reporting.
