Your Role

As our next Senior Simulation Engineer, you’ll be at the forefront of shaping our organization’s success. Responsibilities:
- Responsible for supporting new product development from concept through production, which includes these activities:
- Preparing strategic planning for handling additional CAE modeling processes and participating in FEA & CFD developmental processes and other engineering programs for creating new product designs or implementing the modification of existing designs as per new requirements
- Acting subject matter expert for the company in terms of creating and maintaining best practices
- Mentoring and teaching engineers about predictive engineering, peer reviewing others’ work
- Tying predictive results to real world observations in the lab environment
- Participating in finite element modeling for analyzing problems related to thermal and thermo‑fluids environment, comparing the results with analysis in both high and low temperature ranges
- Creating finite element models of various parts: running finite element modeling in various environments for checking feasibility in structural and thermal domain, and performing analytical studies for the mechanism of kinematics, dynamics, and force analyses
- Interpreting analysis results with respect to results obtained by lab testing, converting these results into practical design templates based on given geometry model, and providing structural support to design and verification groups
- Writing test plans for finite element modeling, data collection processes, and model calibration and correlation studies, analyzing various mechanical system components by using various analytical methods and engineering tools (e.g. MathCAD, MATLAB, Excel, etc.)
- Adheres to all safety regulations
- Performs other job duties as assigned to meet business needs
Qualifications:
Basic Requirements:
- Bachelor’s Degree in mechanical engineering, materials science, or another related field
- 7+ years of experience as a full‑time analyst, or 10+ years of mechanical design experience in combination with computational analysis
- Strong sense of self‑direction based on the needs of the team
- Strong verbal and written communications skills required; must be able to communicate effectively with internal departments, vendors, and customers
- Experience in using a variety of engineering tools like FEA, Moldflow, MATLAB, MathCAD, Excel, etc.
- Knowledge of product development process and validation
- Knowledge of using various modeling skills
- Knowledge in technical writing for writing test plans and reports
- Organizational and time management skills
- This role may require up to 5% travel. Candidates should be comfortable with occasional travel as needed to support business objectives
Preferred
Skills:
- Advanced technical degree
- 10+ years of experience as a full‑time FEA specialist
- Knowledge of Creo
- Knowledge of advanced FEA skills like transient, fatigue, and non‑linear analysis
- Familiarity with ISO
13485
