Position: Specialist, Change Enablement

About the role:

This role is primarily to support change management execution for acquisition and integration (A&I) projects. The integration of newly acquired companies is a key strategy for Boston Scientific, each acquisition requiring varying levels of change support. This is an opportunity to grow in the change management space while moving at a fast pace and supporting critical initiatives for the organization.

Change Enablement Specialist Position

The Change Enablement Specialist will report to the Sr. Manager of Change Enablement within the Global Change Enablement team. A Change Enablement Principal Specialist will be dedicated to this area and the specialist will collaborate with the greater Global Change Enablement team. The global team buildsここenterprise change capability by providing a common language (Prosci) and best practices, upskilling key roles, and delivering change strategies for major enterprise programs.

The role will be responsible for driving the change strategy for various integrations. This includes executing on the change plan and completing activities such as sponsor onboarding, upskilling people/people leaders, capturing and disposition of change impacts, stakeholder management, end‑user change journey activities, change network mobilization, and SharePoint administration.

Work Mode

Boston Scientific requires a hybrid work model: employees must be in the Arden Hills, MN office at least 3 days per week.

Your responsibilities will include:
  • Execute change journey activities in partnership with change network leads to deliver quality change events and materials for each change phase leading up to deployment.
  • Complete key change activities—capture changes coming, validate changes, map changes to roles, identify end‑users—in partnership with integration team members.
  • Create and communicate updated personas aligned to each milestone for end‑user groups with the highest amount and complexity of changes coming.
  • Create and support program communications for teams, the broader stakeholder community, and executive level. Communications should follow a next‑gen communication approach and be integrated into the Microsoft O365 suite of tools, including SharePoint Sites and News app.
  • Support SharePoint site administration (stakeholder list management, end‑user list management, creating News posts/sites as needed, and reviewing site analytics).
  • Consistently measure change and communication effectiveness through multiple forms of measurement (focus groups, surveys, analytics).
  • Independently handle complex issues with minimal supervision, escalating only the most complex issues to appropriate staff.
  • Other duties as assigned.
Required qualifications:
  • Bachelor’s degree in Communications, I/O Psychology, or related field or equivalent experience.
  • Minimum of three years of related work experience in change management, communications, or similar field.
  • Strong strengths in resilience, communication, empathy, and collaboration.
  • Excellent communication skillsattention to detail, creative writing, presentations.
  • Ability to build and maintain strong relationships.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Suite (PPT, Excel, SharePoint).
  • Ability to adapt and flex in a fast‑paced, evolving environment.
  • Comfortable working in ambiguity.
Preferred qualifications:
  • Experience working on a transformation project implementing change management and communications tactics.
  • Experience working globally and comfort with cultural diversity.
  • ACMP certification and/or PROSCI certification.
  • Master’s degree in I/O Psychology, Communication, or related field.
  • Five or more years of experience with change tools such as stakeholder analysis, change impact mapping, persona creation, change measures, and their value.

The anticipated compensation listed above and the value of core and optional employee benefits offered by Boston Scientific will vary based on actual location and other pertinent factors. Compensation will be commensurate with demonstrable level of experience and training.
