About the Role:As Project Manager – Global Supply Chain Capital Equipment, you will provide vision and leadership for projects supporting Global Operations, Capital Equipment Service, Supply Chain, and Quality. Projects vary in size and scope, including new product introductions, acquisitions, technology development, business process improvements, and Quality/Regulation‑driven work. You will lead cross‑functional teams to implement solutions, collaborate across functions, regions, and business units to develop and execute project strategies, secure stakeholder input and resources, and drive change in business practices.
Workmodel, sponsorship, relocation:
This role follows a hybrid work model, requiring you to work in the local office at least three days per week. Boston Scientific will not offer sponsorship or relocation assistance for this position at this time.
YourResponsibilities Include:
- Lead Operations projects – determine objectives and deliverables, and ensure achievement and project success.
- Develop and deliver an appropriate project business plan, including resources, costs, ROI, and timing.
- Ensure that project deliverables meet regulatory and corporate standards.
- Monitor project progress, including budgets, interim milestones, and final deliverables.
- Manage individual project challenges and recommend solutions.
- Identify and address areas of project risk and implement mitigation strategies.
- Regularly present project status to team members, project leadership, and company leadership as required.
- Partner with a variety of functional, regional, and business resources to develop and execute the business plan and facilitate collaboration to achieve objectives.
- Assist in implementing permanent changes to business practices to enhance overall effectiveness.
- Bachelor’s degree.
- Minimum of 5 years’ experience in a technical field, including at least 2 years in a project management role.
- Demonstrated ability to lead and work with cross‑functional teams and influence stakeholders at peer group and 1‑up levels.
- Strong organization, execution, and communication skills.
- Willingness to travel up to 10%, domestic and international.
- Bachelor’s degree in engineering or another technical field.
- Medical device industry experience.
- Experience working in a Global Supply Chain or Operations function.
- Strong working knowledge of Quality Systems basics.
- Experience supporting Capital Equipment functions.
- Excellent ability to communicate at all organizational levels.
- Previous experience with large‑scale projects, as lead or team member.
- PMP certification is a plus.
- Experience with Agile project management and IT‑related projects.
- Experience with new product introductions and Product Life Cycle processes.
Requisition
Minimum Salary: $122,100
Maximum Salary: $232,000
The anticipated compensation above and the value of core and optional benefits offered by Boston Scientific will vary based on location and other factors. Compensation will be commensurate with experience, education, certifications, and other relevant factors.
Compensation for exempt, non‑sales roles may include variable amounts such as annual bonus targets and long‑term incentives, subject to eligibility and plan requirements. Non‑exempt roles may also include variable compensation such as overtime and shift differentials.
