About the Role:

Our Cardiology Clinical team conducts human‑use trials for industry‑leading medical technology within electrophysiology and rhythm management. We are on a mission to demonstrate product safety and efficacy to empower electrophysiologists to improve outcomes—helping patients return to their daily lives.

Work Mode

We value collaboration and synergy. This role follows a hybrid model requiring you to be in our Arden Hills, MN or Marlborough, MA office at least 3 days per week.

Your Responsibilities Will Include:
  • Project/Program Leadership: With the Trial Manager, lead and drive the clinical project team in planning, execution, and management of budget and schedule aspects of clinical trials; develop and implement project plans; build team ownership and commitment; provide input to functional managers on team performance.
  • Risk Management: Proactively identify risks and issues, assess them, and facilitate the creation of mitigation strategies to reduce overall risk profile.
  • Schedule Management: Track development and schedule of all internal and external contributions, statement of work/trial contract, processes, functional plans, study systems, and sponsor‑required regulatory submissions; manage critical path and dependencies closely.
  • Communication: Lead team and cross‑functional communications; serve as liaison between the team and the CIB; lead phase and business reviews, project meeting minutes, issues log, metrics, and other key communications.
  • Data Management: Use internal project management and finance systems to update milestones, study timelines, and key project data; keep data up‑to‑date.
  • Resource Management: Ensure all core team members meet schedule expectations and that their functional management is engaged when issues arise; identify and remove barriers.
  • Financial Management: Assist with portfolio and project financials including budgeting, forecasting, and actual tracking; manage creation of POs and invoice approvals; maintain budget accuracy.
  • Relationship Management: Establish effective, collaborative relationships with external entities and internal organizations to maximize efficiency, responsiveness, and resource allocation.
Required Qualifications:
  • Eight years’ professional experience with a Bachelor’s degree, or equivalent combination of education/work experience.
  • Clinical trial and/or technical project management experience.
  • Experience interacting with stakeholders and business colleagues to analyze and define business requirements and related project reporting.
  • MS Project experience.
  • Ability to present to senior levels within the organization.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Ability to lead teams in a collaborative manner.
  • Excellent problem‑solving and analytical skills, attention to detail.
  • Clinical or financial planning systems experience.
  • PMP Certification.

Minimum Salary: $103,700

Maximum Salary: $197,000

The anticipated compensation listed above and the value of core and optional employee benefits offered by Boston Scientific may vary based on the actual location of the position. Compensation will be commensurate with demonstrable level of experience and training. For non‑exempt (hourly) and exempt, non‑sales roles, variable compensation may also include overtime, shift differential, annual bonus targets, and long‑term incentives, subject to plan eligibility and other requirements.
