Quality Inspector - 2nd shift

Job Description

• Schedule: Monday–Friday, 2:00 PM–10:00 PM; weekend overtime as needed
• Hours: 40 hours per week
• Employment Type: Temporary contract through December 30, 2026

Position Overview

We are seeking detail-oriented Quality Inspectors to support manufacturing quality assurance and continuous improvement activities. This role involves investigating quality issues, supporting corrective actions, maintaining compliance programs, and updating production procedures. Successful candidates will have strong computer skills, solid mathematical abilities, and the ability to manage priorities in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Investigate electronic corrective action requests (eCARs), conduct root cause analysis, and support corrective actions.
• Maintain the plant-level UL program.
• Complete Production Part Approval Process (PPAP) documentation and activities.
• Assist with revising work procedures and instructions.
• Communicate quality-related information through email, phone, and online chat.
• Respond promptly to customer needs and handle challenging customer situations professionally.
• Follow departmental policies, procedures, quality improvement objectives, and safety requirements.
• Perform additional related duties as assigned.

Qualifications

• Associate degree or equivalent education from a two-year college or technical school.
• Three to five years of relevant experience preferred.
• Previous quality experience in a manufacturing facility operating under ISO 9001:2015 preferred.
• Strong computer skills, including Microsoft Outlook, Access, Word, and Excel.
• Ability to learn new software programs quickly.
• Solid math skills and close attention to detail.
• Strong organization, time management, and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to read and write English and follow detailed written and verbal instructions.
• Dependable, punctual, and self-motivated.
