Asphalt Milling Foreman

• Supervise and coordinate daily activities of the asphalt milling crew.
• Ensure proper setup and operation of milling equipment for smooth, consistent, and aligned asphalt milling.
• Monitor project progress and ensure work is completed on schedule and within budget.
• Calculate daily project budget based on crew and equipment size.
• Accurately calculate and order daily truck counts. Manage truck counts throughout the day to reduce costs and best utilize the trucking fleet.
• Hold daily safety meetings with assigned crew including weekly toolbox talks. Ensure crew members are completing all safety tasks assigned to them.
• Assist with light mechanical adjustments and troubleshooting of milling equipment.
• Manage traffic control during milling operation.
• Minimum 2 yearsof experience in asphalt paving construction.
• Flexible schedule, including overtime, nights, and Saturdays.
• Valid U.S. Driver's License (Required).
• Must pass a company-paid drug test.
• Knowledge of job site safety protocols and equipment safety checks.
• Strong understanding of asphalt mixes, materials, and plant operations.
• Ability to work in extreme (hot and cold) weather conditions safely.
• Deadline and detail-oriented work approach.
