Maintenance, Maintenance Technician ​/ Mechanic

Atlas Roof Shingles & Underlayments is seeking an Industrial Maintenance Technician for the Ardmore, OK facility.

• Install, repair, adjust, modify, troubleshoot and perform preventative maintenance on all types of plant equipment and facility.
• Follow all plant and safety rules including all safety Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) requirements.
• Inspect, dismantle, repair, replace, install, clean and assemble as necessary to maintain equipment and buildings.
• Communicate information to maintenance supervision and engineering to assist in analyzing equipment or for the purpose of making equipment modifications.
• Perform pipe installations and repairs in various pipelines.
• Interpret blueprints for equipment information and installation.
• Work with maintenance supervisor to insure a sufficient level of backup spares for all mechanical equipment.
• Utilize torches, welders and burning equipment.
• Maintain daily shift inspection and repair logs for review by supervision and other plant personnel.

• Minimum three (3) years Industrial Electrical / Mechanical experience.
• Good working knowledge of hydraulic and pneumatic system.
• Basic knowledge of electrical systems, hand tools, and industrial equipment.
• Basic knowledge of DC motor controllers, AC inverters, and motors.

• Mathematical abilities:
  Basic arithmetic and ability to calculate percentages and decimals.
• Reading Ability:
  Advanced – ability to read, analyze and interpret technical procedures and regulations.
• Computer skills:
  Word – beginner level.
• Must be able to use power tools, including electrical testing and measuring equipment.

• High School Diploma or GED.
• Take and pass Bennett Mechanical Comprehension Test.

• Must be able to work rotating shift schedule and overtime.
• Physical Requirements:
  
  Regularly standing, walking, lifting, handling, reaching, fingering, feeling, talking, hearing, coordination; and occasionally carrying, climbing, stooping, kneeling and crouching.
• Vision Requirements: far and near acuity, depth perception, field of vision, and color.
• Environmental Requirements: extreme heat/cold and temperature changes, wet, humid and noise.
