This position is accountable for the delivery of pre-sold products to customers’ locations throughout serviced counties. It is a front-line role working directly with customers. The Delivery Driver is responsible for safely operating delivery vehicles and equipment and ensuring the accurate and timely delivery of product. The driver also handles all Encompass transactions and the collection of payments and signatures. The position must comply with all company safety policies, practices, and procedures.

• Check in with Delivery Supervisor daily upon arrival and review any special instructions.
• Perform daily pre-trip DOT inspection and post-trip inspection, ensuring vehicle registration, insurance and accident kits are present.
• Leave the warehouse at the appointed time and deliver required product to locations as specified by the order schedule.
• If assigned a Delivery Driver Assistant, review daily tasks with them and ensure they perform their duties; report any issues to the Delivery Supervisor.
• Deliver merchandise, off-load items using company equipment, and follow the predetermined delivery route safely and efficiently.
• Contribute to a work environment that fosters pride and promotes personal growth.
• Maintain personal productivity and quality standards.
• Follow systems and procedures taught by Delivery Manager and Delivery Supervisors.
• Swap product per company and supplier procedures as it relates to codes and dates.
• Complete all required documents for delivery, pickup, and DOT regulations.
• At each account, check product dates, rotate wells, windows, back stock and displays per company procedures, including expiration dates; handle swaps accordingly.
• Build displays as requested by Account Manager.
• Ensure cooler and back stock are clean and organized; clean up all trash and dispose properly.
• Collect payment for all delivered products per company policy.
