OverviewWe are seeking an experienced architect with 8-10 years of experience to join our healthcare team. This role involves leading and contributing to multiple projects from concept through construction while ensuring compliance with regulatory processes and quality standards.
Responsibilities- Lead and contribute to multiple projects from concept through construction.
- Conduct thorough code research and understand regulatory agency processes.
- Guide the integration of QA/QC standards and Environmental Sustainable Design (ESD) goals.
- Oversee constructability reviews and ensure quality and detailing of documentation.
- Coordinate with external consultants and internal teams for seamless project execution.
- Participate in design reviews, construction administration, and industry group activities.
- Evaluate and monitor project code compliance, system development, and detailing with the project team.
- Ensure project delivery meets client goals, contractual scope, schedule, and budget.
- Represent the company in client-facing meetings, consultant coordination, and contractor discussions.
- Engage in internal processes, including project strategy, documentation standards, and design reviews.
- Mentor junior staff in both technical and professional development.
- Model leadership through studio participation, culture-building, and knowledge sharing.
- Maintain active licensure and CEU compliance, supporting professional growth.
- Support standards, initiatives, and business goals across studio activities.
- Registered or in the process of registration.
- 8-10 years of architectural experience with a focus on healthcare design.
- Proficiency in interpreting and applying FGI Guidelines and healthcare regulations.
- Strong design sensibility paired with technical execution skills.
- Demonstrated ability to lead teams, manage consultants, and engage in client relationships.
- Proficiency in Revit and AutoCAD.
Skills & Qualifications
- Experience in construction documentation and architectural design.
- Knowledge of rendering techniques.
- Ability to manage construction documentation.
- Experience with healthcare architecture.
This role is based in a 72-person Architectural & Interiors studio. The environment is open and collaborative, with a strong focus on design trends and education. The office is located near the SEPTA Ardmore station. The work pace is fast with tight deadlines and multiple projects per month. The studio promotes a supportive culture with strong personalities on the management team, requiring a strong voice and business acumen.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Ardmore, PA.
Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $43.27 - $55.28/hr.
