Lankenau Medical Center is seeking an experienced OB/GYN Faculty Member to join our residency program. With a cohort of 16 residents and over 25 faculty members, this role blends clinical practice with resident education to shape the future of obstetrics and gynecology.
Key ResponsibilitiesClinical Practice (0.7 FTE):
- Provide comprehensive obstetric and gynecologic care, including prenatal, delivery, postpartum care, and gynecologic surgeries.
- Participate in labor and delivery coverage, including on-call responsibilities.
- Conduct outpatient consultations and follow-up visits.
- Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to ensure high-quality patient care.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records.
Educational Duties (0.3 FTE):
- Serve as a preceptor for residents, offering hands-on training and mentorship in clinical and surgical settings.
- Participate in the development and implementation of the residency curriculum in compliance with ACGME standards.
- Conduct educational sessions, including lectures, case discussions, and simulation training.
- Evaluate resident performance and provide constructive feedback.
- Engage in scholarly activities such as research, publications, and conference presentations.
- Medical degree (MD or DO) from an accredited institution.
- Board-certified or board-eligible in Obstetrics and Gynecology.
- Valid state medical license or eligibility for licensure in Pennsylvania.
- Strong clinical skills and experience in both obstetrics and gynecology.
- A compassionate and patient-centered approach to care.
