Position

Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant – Medical ICU (Night Shift)

Primarily Night 7pm‑7am, including weekend and holiday rotation. The position also follows a rotating schedule that includes periodic day‑shift coverage.

• Use your advanced nursing degree to enhance quality patient care and amplify communication among the healthcare team.
• Perform acts of medical diagnosis or prescription in collaboration with attending physicians and residents.

• Minimum 2 years of NP or PA experience in critical care (preferred). At least 1 year of critical care experience or a clinical rotation is required.
• Completion of a Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant program (MSN or Master of Science).
• Licensed by the Pennsylvania State Board of Nursing as a Certified Registered Nurse Practitioner or licensed by the Pennsylvania State Board of Medical Education and Licensure.
• National Commission for Certification of Physician Assistants (NCCPA) certification or Certified Registered Nurse Practitioner (CRNP) certification.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required;
  Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) and Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) are preferred.
• Successful completion of the Medical Staff credentialing process (temporary or permanent privileges approved).
• Must wear a respirator as part of the job requirement.
