Argyll House Surgery is looking for an experienced, enthusiastic and committed Healthcare Assistant to join our friendly team.
Hours:
37.5 hours per week
Salary:
Subject to experience
You must be able to demonstrate that you are an excellent team player and will assist the Practice Nurse and Clinical Team in the provision and delivery of safe patient care.
Experience of the following is an advantage- Experience of working with the public
- Good communication skills
- Strong IT skills
- Ability to work as part of the multi-disciplinary team and independently
- Experience working under pressure in a fast‑paced busy healthcare setting

About usArgyll House Surgery has been providing an excellent standard of medical care to thousands of patients in Ryde, Wootton Bridge and the surrounding villages for more than 25 years.
Our team includes a full‑time GP, two part‑time GPs, two practice nurses, and one healthcare assistant as well as a Clinical Pharmacist, Practice Manager, reception and secretarial staff. We run a full range of general practice services with special clinics for babies, pregnant women and patients with certain conditions. At the surgery we aim to treat all patients promptly, courteously and in complete confidence.

Working under the direct supervision of the Practice Nurses and strictly in accordance with specific Practice guidelines and protocols, the Healthcare Assistant will assist the Practice clinical team in the provision and delivery of prescribed programmes of patient care.
