Intuit is seeking highly motivated individuals to join our dynamic team as dedicated Turbo Tax Live Seasonal Local Service Experts in one of our new Turbo Tax locations across the United States on a seasonal basis. This unique opportunity combines tax expertise, entrepreneurial spirit, and community engagement to help customers navigate their tax needs. As a Turbo Tax Live - Seasonal Local Service Expert, you will serve as a trusted advisor, empowering customers to achieve positive financial outcomes while supporting Intuit’s mission of “Powering Prosperity Around the World.”

About

The Role

In this role, you will work on-site from a Turbo Tax location, serving customers both in-person and virtually using Intuit Turbo Tax products. You will leverage your tax expertise to provide full-service tax return preparation, tax advice, calculations, and software/product support. Your ability to demonstrate understanding of each customer’s unique situation and connect with them on a personal level is critical to alleviating the stress some may feel when tackling their taxes.

Whether assisting with simple W2 filings, navigating life events, or handling more complex tax scenarios like business income, amendments, or investments, you will serve as the go‑to expert for your clients.

Additionally, you will play a key role in growing Turbo Tax’s client base within the local community, establishing long-term relationships, and driving customer loyalty. Turbo Tax will provide a straightforward playbook, essential tools, and dedicated support to facilitate your success. This role is nonexempt and requires onsite presence at a Turbo Tax location in the United States on a seasonal basis.

What

You’ll Do
  • Provide Tax Expertise: give hands‑on tax advice and complete preparation services for Turbo Tax clients, handling simple to complex tax situations. Facilitate discovery sessions and tax reviews to uncover deductions, minimize tax liabilities, maximize refunds, and provide future planning advice.
  • Be a proactive community ambassador: build a robust customer base, engage new prospects, nurture leads, convert them into long‑term clients, and organize local events to boost engagement.
  • Educate and communicate confidently: represent Turbo Tax publicly, host learning events, participate in local marketing, and demystify taxes.
  • Build relationships: connect with people, demonstrate sensitivity, and build trust that turns a one‑time transaction into a multi‑year relationship.
  • Deliver a best‑in‑class customer experience: create professionalism, genuine interest in helping clients achieve financial goals, and interact both in-person and through video communication tools.
Who You Are
  • Possess active, unrestricted credentials: EA, CPA, or practicing attorney with strong tax preparation experience.
  • Have an active Preparer Tax Identification Number (PTIN).
  • Minimum of 2 years of paid experience filing 30+ federal and state individual 1040 returns per season using professional software.
  • Familiarity with Circular 230.
  • Willing and available to work a static weekly schedule with a minimum of 24 hours per week at a Turbo Tax location.
  • Interests in building a local and online presence as a Turbo Tax Expert.
  • Bilingual (English/Spanish) communication skills are a plus.
  • Experience in holistic tax advisory services beyond tax filing.
