Bilingual; SPANISH Lead Clinician

The Master’s Level Bilingual Therapist works as a staff member of the Student Services Team. Primarily responsible for providing therapeutic services to clients and their families. The Master’s Level Therapist reports to the Clinical Director and/or Director of Student Services or other designated supervisor. When under the Education department, reports to the Principal.

• Provides individual, family and group therapy as indicated by program needs.
• Documents all therapy and contacts with clients and other service providers.
• Maintains clients’ clinical files in a timely and orderly fashion.
• Maintains the Clinical Training Manual in a timely and orderly fashion, if applicable.
• Provides crisis intervention as needed. Ensures documentation is completed.
• Transports clients for therapeutic services when needed.
• Prepares monthly progress notes, staffing reports, plans and discharge summaries.

• Be empathetic, patient, and treat others with respect.
• Master’s degree in social work, 2 years of postgraduate direct service delivery experience or a master’s degree or Ph.D. in psychology, sociology, or other relevant behavioral science.
• 2 years of postgraduate direct service delivery experience/or bachelor’s degree.
• 5 years clinical employment experience in the behavioral sciences.
• Must have supervisory experience and be licensed to provide clinical services in the State where the care provider is located.
• Have one year of prior experience working in a residential setting for children/NMD, their families and/or the Juvenile Justice/Child Welfare System.
• Bilingual in Spanish/English required.

Be able to pass a criminal background check, drug screen, physical, and TB test.
