Plant Accountant

This is a Direct Hire opportunity with the client. This position is ONSITE and requires experience in Inventory Management.

$75,000.00/yr - $90,000.00/yr

• Apply principles of GAAP to analyze financial information, prepare accurate reports, and maintain accounting controls.
• Prepare monthly and quarterly analyses according to the financial closing calendar.
• Handle account analysis, forecasting, and ensure accuracy of standard costs, month-end closing, and plant financial forecasts.
• Input journal entries and review financial books and ledgers.
• Collaborate with plant management to meet financial goals and explain plant performance, including variances.
• Manage CAPEX budgets, asset disposal, and cycle counts.
• Report variances and assist in corrective actions.
• Support internal controls and document accounting procedures.
• Perform other duties as assigned and ensure reliable attendance.

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting; CPA preferred.
• At least 5 years of general ledger accounting experience in manufacturing.
• Knowledge of accounting principles, laws, and financial systems such as Microsoft D365 (SAP ERP) and MS Office.
• Strong analytical skills and ability to multi-task in a deadline-driven environment.
