RATE: $16.03 to $20.05 hourly

Under general supervision, perform clerical support for SEACOM’s records management and related duties as assigned.
- Conduct cursory background checks using Spillman RMS for employment backgrounds.
- Perform entries into the Arizona Crime Information Center (ACIC) and/or National Crime Information Center (NCIC) for warrants, orders of protection, stolen articles, vehicles, identity theft, and missing persons.
- Perform criminal history checks using ACIC/NCIC on request of law enforcement or authorized records personnel.
- Retrieve and verify case/incident information using Spillman or case files.
- Ensure records are retained in compliance with the Arizona State Library, Archives, and Public Records retention schedule.
- Retrieve mandatory Good Samaritan reporting information for the Arizona Department of Health Services on a monthly basis.
- Apply quality control standards to entries made in ACIC/NCIC by Public Safety Dispatchers and maintain performance scores.
- High school diploma or equivalent; at least two (2) years general clerical office experience or completion of a course or program in office management or a closely related field.
- Typing speed of 35 words per minute minimum.
- Minimum age 18 years.
- Valid Arizona driver’s license.
- Ability to be covered by county insurance.
- Equivalencies and comparable experience may be considered.
- Public records statutes and confidentiality requirements of law enforcement records and information.
- Authorized persons and extent of authorized information release.
- Policies and procedures of SEACOM.
- Municipal computer software for Spillman.
- English grammar and spelling.
Work is primarily performed under general supervision, typically in an office setting with appropriate climate controls.
Physical RequirementsLifting up to 10 pounds, manual dexterity, ability to communicate. Sedentary work includes occasional light lifting and standing; walking required.
