Automotive Master Technician Weekends Off | Buckeye

As a Senior Technician , you will play a vital role in diagnosing and resolving vehicle issues while ensuring top-notch service quality. You’ll collaborate closely with our Service Manager and Advisors to enhance shop efficiency and uphold our commitment to excellence.

In this role, you will:

• Collaborate with the service department to effectively distribute work among technicians.
• Oversee individual technician workloads and ensure smooth workflow in the service area.
• Train and mentor new technicians, fostering a culture of growth and learning.
• Assist fellow technicians in diagnosing and repairing vehicles as needed.
• Educate the team on brand standards to troubleshoot guest concerns efficiently.
• Manage shop supplies and equipment to maintain operational excellence.
• Monitor bulk fluid levels and shop efficiency through technician reports.
• Distribute housekeeping tasks to promote safety, cleanliness, and organization.
• Enforce safety regulations and protocols to ensure a secure work environment.
• Communicate effectively with the service department to address guest concerns and resolve complaints.

Qualifications:

• A positive attitude and a genuine desire to serve our guests.
• 7+ years of experience as an automotive technician/mechanic.
• Exceptional automotive diagnostic skills.
• A strong investment in your own tools.
• Ability to flag 40+ hours per week, depending on shop needs.
• ASE A1-A8 Certifications required;
  Master L1 preferred.
• Diesel experience is a plus!
• Capability to diagnose and repair all makes and models of vehicles.
• Aptitude for learning new skills and processes.
• Professional appearance and strong communication skills.
• A desire for long-term career development.

• Occasionally lift and/or move over 50 pounds.
• Work with tools on vehicles lifted above your head.
• Navigate tight spaces as required by vehicle repairs.
• Demonstrate dexterity to efficiently use hand tools.
• Stand or walk for the majority of your workday.
• Drive manual transmission vehicles.
• Efficiently navigate a computer.
