About the RoleAre you an energetic and passionate automotive technician looking to take your career to the next level? As a Senior Technician , you will play a vital role in diagnosing and resolving vehicle issues while ensuring top-notch service quality. You’ll collaborate closely with our Service Manager and Advisors to enhance shop efficiency and uphold our commitment to excellence.

Your ResponsibilitiesIn this role, you will:
- Collaborate with the service department to effectively distribute work among technicians.
- Oversee individual technician workloads and ensure smooth workflow in the service area.
- Train and mentor new technicians, fostering a culture of growth and learning.
- Assist fellow technicians in diagnosing and repairing vehicles as needed.
- Educate the team on brand standards to troubleshoot guest concerns efficiently.
- Manage shop supplies and equipment to maintain operational excellence.
- Monitor bulk fluid levels and shop efficiency through technician reports.
- Distribute housekeeping tasks to promote safety, cleanliness, and organization.
- Enforce safety regulations and protocols to ensure a secure work environment.
- Communicate effectively with the service department to address guest concerns and resolve complaints.
Qualifications:
- A positive attitude and a genuine desire to serve our guests.
- 7+ years of experience as an automotive technician/mechanic.
- Exceptional automotive diagnostic skills.
- A strong investment in your own tools.
- Ability to flag 40+ hours per week, depending on shop needs.
- ASE A1-A8 Certifications required;
Master L1 preferred. - Diesel experience is a plus!
- Capability to diagnose and repair all makes and models of vehicles.
- Aptitude for learning new skills and processes.
- Professional appearance and strong communication skills.
- A desire for long-term career development.
- Occasionally lift and/or move over 50 pounds.
- Work with tools on vehicles lifted above your head.
- Navigate tight spaces as required by vehicle repairs.
- Demonstrate dexterity to efficiently use hand tools.
- Stand or walk for the majority of your workday.
- Drive manual transmission vehicles.
- Efficiently navigate a computer.
