Your work environment at EXP:
In this role, you will be an integral part of delivering and managing Guam and Pacific Island projects.
- Prepare construction documents in coordination with a multidisciplinary project team of architects and engineers.
- Coordinate project requirements and development of construction documents with subconsultants.
- Meet with product vendors to review specific products to be incorporated into the projects.
- Perform code reviews and meet independently with local code officials to review and determine specific local code requirements and project compliance.
- Perform bid phase and construction phase tasks including site visits, review of shop drawings, responding to requests for information, and issuing clarifications.
- Lead the development of design alternatives using a variety of media, including computer visualization and physical models, working in coordination with and oversight of the Principal Architect.
- Lead the development of presentation documents and make design presentations to clients.
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Architecture from an accredited university.
- Working toward an Architectural License in Guam or ability to receive license.
- Minimum 5 years of relevant experience with the tasks identified above.
- Track record of exceptional performance.
- Experience in a variety of project market sectors, including commercial or federal.
- Thorough working understanding of the Microsoft Office suite, including Word, Excel, and Outlook.
- Knowledge of AutoCAD and Revit capabilities.
- Ability to utilize financial management software.
- Ability for occasional travel.
