Network Engineer

Role Overview

• Lead, manage, and support the design and development of critical voice, video, radio frequency, and data communications networks to ensure robust availability and security for the mission.
• Collaborate with operational organizations and cross‑functional teams to implement Request for Changes (RFCs) and maintain Information Assurance Vulnerability Alert (IAVA) compliance.
• Drive network enhancements and innovative technical solutions by applying the engineering design process to solve complex performance and security challenges.
• Utilize industry‑leading technologies to monitor network integrity, configure essential network devices (routers, switches, firewalls), and ensure Net Ops capability integration.

• Education:
  
  Bachelor of Arts or Bachelor of Science.
• Experience:
  
  2+ years of related experience.
• Technical
  
  Skills:
  
  Network configuration (routers, switches, firewalls), VPN concentrators, Microsoft enterprise products, and Net Ops tools.
• Security Clearance:
  Secret. Security+ and CCNA required.

• Competitive pay range $89,250 – $120,750 (salary set based on experience, geographic location and contractual requirements).
