The Senior Mine Engineer will work closely with Operations, Geology, Survey, Safety, Maintenance, and other technical disciplines to translate mine plans into practical operating objectives and help address both day-to-day and longer-term operational challenges. The position will also serve as a technical resource and mentor to less-experienced engineering personnel.

- Assist with budgeting, production forecasting, capital planning, and cost-control activities
- Mentor and provide technical guidance to Mine Engineers and other less-experienced technical personnel
- Ensure engineering work complies with MSHA requirements, applicable federal and Arizona requirements, company policies, and engineering standards
Required:
- Bachelor’s degree in Mining Engineering or a related discipline
- 5–8+ years of underground mining experience with demonstrated progression in mine engineering responsibilities
- Experience developing short-, medium-, and long-range underground mine plans
- Experience with underground mine design, development planning, production sequencing, and infrastructure planning
- Strong knowledge of Deswick, Surface Open Pit-Minesite, and Leap Frog
- Working knowledge of underground mining methods, drill and blast practices, ventilation systems, ground control principles, and mine services
- Strong analytical, organizational, problem-solving, and communication skills
- Valid driver’s license meeting insurance standards
- Professional Engineer (PE) licensure or progress toward licensure is preferred, along with underground precious‑metals and narrow‑vein mining experience
- Experience leading multidisciplinary technical services teams and supporting operational excellence or continuous improvement initiatives
This is an opportunity for an experienced underground mining engineer to take an active role in both the technical and operational sides of a developing underground gold operation. The position is well suited for an engineer who enjoys being close to operations, solving practical mining challenges, and helping develop other members of the technical team.
