Job Summary
Pharmacy/ Retail Lead Prefers someone who is local. Hospital exp required
have experience in management to be the PIC/ lead
Pharm
D preferred; 1-year residency 2 yrs exp/ Lead Exp / flexible days and hours ( 8 or 10 or shifst)
BLS
AZ license preferred
Criteria:
They need to
have experience in management to be the PIC/ lead
be able to lead and process scripts and perform all duties a pharmacist at the site
be flexible and their focus is the patient
be a good fit with the team
Pharmacist:
process control substances according to policy and law and in a timely manner
they need to be able to counsel patients in a timely manner
they need to have current medication knowledge, flexibility to move where needed
Essential Functions
Bachelor of Science degree and/or Doctor of Pharmacy (Pharm
D) from an accredited school of Pharmacy
• Pharm
D preferred; 1-year residency (PGY1) preferred
• Three (2) years of pharmacist experience;
Minimum two (2) years in hospital practice preferred
• BLS certification within 90 days of hire
• Current and active, unrestricted Pharmacist license;
Arizona license preferred
• Licensed to administer immunizations, vaccines, and emergency medications preferred
Directs, manages and supervises daily administrative operations to ensure highest quality service response and delivery consistent with established professional, regulatory and governmental standardsDevelops operational and financial outcome measures, related tracking and monitoring systems and a mechanism to integrate efforts into organization-wide Quality Improvement systemsDirects, implements and evaluates development of departmental, functional and/or service related policies and proceduresProactively assesses program, service and functional effectiveness; makes regular and consistent effort to develop and facilitate continuous process improvement.Develops and supervises staff through provision of timely feedback and use of appropriate Human Resource policies and tools to facilitate and ensure the ability of staff to achieve highest level of professional growth and desired performance standardsPlans, directs, implements and evaluates computer-based information and dispensing system to ensure ongoing efficiency and accuracy of data captureDevelops, manages and supervises purchasing and inventory management functions to ensure cost effective inventory management while providing timely availability to appropriate pharmaceuticals and related productsFacilitates the professional growth of staff by accurately assessing learning needs, styles and barriers to learning; coordinates learning opportunities.Prepares monthly progress/operational report; identifies areas of improvement, concern and recommendedParticipates in departmental orientation, on the job training and quality assurance programs/initiativesParticipates in a variety of department and hospital educational programs to maintain current skill and competency levels; identifies and discusses performance or training needs with SupervisorPerforms other as requestedMinimum Qualifications
- Five years professional experience with two years of management experience
- Bachelor’s degree in Pharmacy;
Pharm
D preferred including 1 year residency - Current and valid state Pharmacy license, required
- BLS certification within 30 days of hire
