Travel or Local Pharmacy​/Retail Supervisor

Location: Arizona (Local candidates strongly preferred)

Schedule: Flexible days & hours (8- or 10-hour shifts)

Setting: Hospital / Retail Pharmacy

We’re seeking a Pharmacy / Retail Supervisor to oversee daily pharmacy operations, supervise staff, and ensure compliance with professional, regulatory, and organizational standards. The ideal candidate will bring hospital experience
, strong leadership abilities, and a Pharm

D background with residency training.

• Direct, manage, and supervise daily pharmacy operations to ensure quality service and regulatory compliance
• Develop outcome measures, tracking systems, and contribute to organization-wide quality improvement initiatives
• Establish, implement, and evaluate departmental policies and procedures
• Lead continuous process improvement efforts for program and service effectiveness
• Supervise and mentor pharmacy staff; provide feedback and foster professional growth
• Oversee dispensing systems, purchasing, and inventory management for cost-effective operations
• Support staff development by coordinating training opportunities and assessing learning needs
• Prepare operational reports and recommend improvements
• Participate in departmental orientation, training, and quality assurance programs
• Maintain current competency through hospital and departmental education programs
• Perform other duties as assigned

• 5 years professional experience with at least 2 years in a management or supervisory role
• Pharm
  
  D preferred with residency training (PGY1)
• BLS certification within 30 days of hire

• Education: Bachelor of Science in Pharmacy or Doctor of Pharmacy (Pharm
  
  D preferred)
• Residency: PGY1 residency preferred
• Experience: Minimum 2 years pharmacist experience, with at least 2 years in hospital practice required; leadership/tech ops lead experience preferred
• Certifications: BLS (within 30–90 days of hire)
• Other: Must successfully pass a background check and drug screen
