Are you a healthcare professional with a passion for safety, prevention, and quality care? Talented Medical Solutions is seeking a highly skilled Infection Control Officer to lead and support infection prevention initiatives across healthcare facilities in Arizona.
POSITION SUMMARY:
Develops, implements, and evaluates the infection control program including hospital-acquired infection prevention, TB prevention and monitoring, exposure plan and policies. Oversees the Employee Health Nurse and develops, maintains, and implements the Employee Health program in accordance with the policies and objectives and in accordance with state, federal, and other regulatory standards.
QualificationsMust have a valid RN License in any state
Must have 1-3 years experience as Infection Control Officer
Three years RN experience in a hospital setting, one-year Employee Health experience preferred.
Certification in Infection Prevention and Control (CIC) or the ability to obtain within 2 year of hire.
Current and active state RN license, Arizona preferred
BLS Certification required, ACLS Certification preferred
