Work Schedule: Monday–Friday, 0700–1630 (9‑hour shift with 1‑hour unpaid meal break); 40 hours/week

• Education:
  
  High School Diploma or GED
• Experience:
  
  Minimum 1 year handling patient records in a healthcare setting, managing EHR or medical office software, familiarity with medical terminology and HIPAA regulations
• Knowledge of standard office equipment (computers, copiers, printers, fax machines, telephone systems) to perform a substantial range of medical record maintenance support
• License/Certification:
  Basic Life Support (BLS) – American Heart Association;
  Certified as a RHIT or Registered Health Information Administrator
• Other Requirements:
  Must be a U.S. Citizen

• Retrieve, file, scan, and maintain patient medical records daily
• Greet patients, respond to record requests, and route calls appropriately
• Maintain accuracy of electronic and paper records in compliance with HIPAA
• Operate office equipment (computers, scanners, printers, phones) in support of record management
