Business Development Specialist

Overview

The Business Development Specialist is responsible for building and maintaining strong relationships between the residential treatment center and the community, including referral sources, healthcare professionals, local organizations, and potential clients. This role involves outreach, education, and engagement efforts to promote the center’s services, support admissions, and enhance the facility’s reputation in the community.

• Outreach & Relationship Building:
  Establish and maintain relationships with local healthcare providers, hospitals, social service agencies, schools, and community organizations.
• Outreach & Relationship Building:
  Serve as the primary point of contact for referral sources and community partners.

  Represent the treatment center at community events, health fairs, conferences, and networking meetings.
• Marketing & Public Relations:
  Develop and implement outreach strategies to increase awareness of the center’s programs and services.

  Conduct presentations and educational sessions about substance use disorders, mental health treatment, and available resources.

• Bachelor’s degree in social work, psychology, marketing, communications, or a related field (master’s preferred).
• Experience in community outreach, marketing, healthcare, or social services, preferably in a behavioral health setting.
• Strong communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently and collaborate with multidisciplinary teams. Knowledge of addiction treatment, mental health services, and the healthcare system.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office, CRM software, and social media platforms.
• Valid driver’s license and ability to travel within the community.
