Accounting Clerk

Location: Sacaton

Description We are looking for a detail-oriented Accounting Clerk to join our team in Sacaton, Arizona. This Contract position focuses on payroll processing and offers the opportunity to work closely with the Payroll Manager to ensure accurate and timely payroll operations. Ideal candidates will bring prior experience in payroll processing, along with familiarity with ADP Workforce Now.

Responsibilities:

- Process payroll for employees, ensuring accuracy and compliance with company policies and regulations.

- Collaborate with the Payroll Manager to address payroll-related issues and streamline processes.

- Maintain and update payroll records, including employee data and payment details.

- Verify and reconcile payroll reports to ensure all transactions are accurately recorded.

- Respond to employee inquiries regarding payroll discrepancies or concerns.

- Utilize ADP Workforce Now to manage payroll tasks efficiently.

- Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal regulations regarding payroll procedures.

- Assist in preparing payroll documentation for audits or financial reviews.

- Work with other departments to gather necessary information for payroll processing.

- Identify and resolve errors in payroll calculations or data entries. Requirements - Minimum of one year of experience in payroll processing.

- Proficiency with ADP Workforce Now software.

- Familiarity with payroll functions for companies with 101-500 employees.

- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.

- Ability to handle sensitive information with confidentiality and discretion.

- Solid understanding of payroll laws and regulations.

- Effective communication skills to interact with employees and managers.

- Ability to work both independently and collaboratively within a team environment.
