Forklift Operator

Job Summary

As a Forklift Operator at 48forty Solutions, you will move pallets and other materials throughout the warehouse, support production requirements, load and unload customer trailers, sort pallets manually, and repair damaged wooden pallets. This role is vital to the success of our Relogistics site.

Hourly Pay: $18.00

Shift(s): Wed – Sun 9:00 am – 5:30 pm

Location: Litchfield Park, AZ 85340

• Move sorted pallet stacks to appropriate staging areas using Relogistics forklift equipment
• Operate forklifts with extreme care, adhering to company safety procedures at all times
• Hand‑sort wooden pallets, when required
• Repair wooden pallets using a nail gun, when required
• Maintain a clean and safe working environment

• High School Diploma or GED
• Forklift certification preferred
• 1–3 years of forklift experience
• Previous experience in a warehouse, logistics, lumber, carpentry, welding, roofing, or construction strongly preferred
• Willingness to work in a labor‑intensive environment
• Ability to communicate effectively
• Willingness to work overtime as needed

• Ability to work in extreme conditions (elements, heat, cold, air particulate)
• Repetitive body adjustments to bend, stoop, walk, turn, pivot, and sit in a forklift for whole shifts of varying lengths
• Noise level depends on location
• Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) required (eye protection, ear protection, safety shoes)
• Specific vision abilities required (close vision, distance vision, color vision)
• May be required to lift pallets by hand, each weighing 50–75 lb
